Privacy policy

As a user of our website, you will receive all the necessary information in this privacy policy about how, to what extent and for what purpose we or third-parties collect data from you and use it. The collection, processing and use of your data are carried out strictly in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Teleservices Act (TMG). We are particularly committed to the confidentiality of your personal data and therefore work strictly within limits set by law. This personal data is collected on a voluntary basis if we are able to do so. In addition, we only disclose this data to third parties with your express consent. We ensure a high level of security for particularly confidential data such as for payment transactions or with regard to your enquiries to us by using SSL encryption. At this point, however, we would like to point out the general dangers of using the Internet, over which we have no control. Your data with email traffic, in particular, is not secure and can be acquired by third parties under certain circumstances without implementing further precautions.

The collection, processing and use of your personal data

You can visit our site without disclosing any information about yourself. We only store non-personal access data, such as the name of your Internet service provider, the site you visited us from, or the name of the file you requested. This data is used solely to improve our services and does not allow for any conclusions to be drawn about you as a person.

Your personal data (such as salutory, title, name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, bank account) will only be collected if you yourself disclose these to us in order to use one of our offered services.

We use the personal data you provide to respond to your requests via the online customer form, to process your contracts and orders, to send you an order and shipping confirmation and to set up a personalised online portal where you can place orders, to view data concerning your completed orders, look into open or shipped orders, and to manage your address and account data and to gain access to certain information or offers.

We also use your information to inform you about certain products, services or marketing campaigns via email that you might be interested in. You can object to the use of your data for advertising purposes at any time. To do so, please send an email to webmaster@reico-vital.de

Transfer of your personal data to third parties

If required, data for business transactions will be transmitted to third parties such as our sales partners (independent sales representatives). Our service providers (logistics, banking, etc.), for example, will obtain the necessary data for ordering and order processing within the framework of order processing. The data shared in this way may only be used by our service providers to fulfil their task. Any other use of the information is not permitted and also does not occur on the part of the service providers entrusted by us.

Under limited circumstances, we will need to disclose personal data to authorised government agencies and offices such as in the context of judicial or administrative proceedings, to prevent fraud or imminent dangers and to ensure the safety of our network and our services. However, these bodies, for their part, are again obliged to maintain secrecy.

Contact form

If you wish to contact us using the contact form, you must enter your surname, first name, email address and send your message in order for your request to be processed. The information you provide us with will be stored for processing the request, as well as for potential follow-up questions. This data will be redirected to the relevant work areas or sent to your sales partner (independent sales representatives) depending on the requests.

Server log files

Server log files contain anonymous data that are collected when you access our website. This information does not draw any conclusions about you as an individual, but is, for technical reasons, indispensable for the delivery and presentation of our contents. They will continue to help with our statistics and with the continuous optimisation of our content. Typical log files are the date and time of access, the amount of data, the browser used for accessing and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of the provider appointed by you, the page from which you came to our offer (referrer URL) and your IP address. Log files also allow for a precise check in cases of suspected illegal use of our website.

SSL encryption

Our website uses SSL encryption when it comes to the transmission of confidential or personal content of our users. This encryption is enabled, for example, for the processing of payments, as well as requests that you provide us with via our website. Please make sure that SSL encryption is enabled from your site during relevant activities. The use of encryption is easy to recognise: The display on your browser line changes from "http://" to "https://". Data encrypted via SSL cannot be read by third parties. Only transmit your confidential information if SSL encryption is activated; if in doubt, please contact us.

Cookies
We use cookies on our website. These small text files are stored on your PC from our server. They support showing our website and help you move around our website. Cookies collect information about your IP address, your browser, your operating system and your Internet connection. We do not link this information to personal data and do not pass it on to third parties. Under no circumstances are cookies used by us to transfer malware or spyware to your computer. You can use our website without the use of cookies, whereby some images and features of our offer may only work to a limited extent. If you wish to disable cookies, you can do this via special browser settings. Please use its help function to carry out the appropriate changes.

Using Google Analytics

Our website uses the web analytics service of Google Analytics by Google Inc. This uses cookies. These are text files that allow an analysis of your behaviour as a user on our website after they have been saved on your PC. These cookies generate information that is transmitted to a Google server. These servers are usually in the United States, but follow agreements on the use of the European economic area and shorten your IP address before being sent to the United States. An IP address will be only shortened after being sent to the United States only in exceptional cases. Google evaluates the information and provides more services for us website operators in this context. In doing so, the detected IP address is not merged with other Google services. By changing your browser settings, you can prevent the storage of cookies on your computer. However, the viewing and functionality of this website may be restricted when using our website. Moreover, a browser plugin prevents the collection and use of information generated by the cookies. You can download it at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en Learn more about Google and Google Analytics' privacy policy at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.

Third-party content and services

The offer on our website may also include content, services and performances from other providers that supplement our offer. Examples of such offers are maps from Google Maps, YouTube videos, or graphics of third parties. The calling up of these services by third parties requires regular disclosure of your IP address. Therefore, these providers can see and also save your user IP address. We make every effort to only include those third-party providers who use IP addresses solely for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence on which third-party provider may save the IP address. This saving of address can be used for statistical purposes, for example. Should we become aware of any saving procedures through third parties, we will inform our users of this immediately. In this context, please also take note of the special data protection declarations for individual third-party providers and service providers whose services we use on our website. You will find them in this privacy policy as well.

YouTube videos

We also add YouTube videos to our website. The operator of the respective plugins is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can recognise your surfing habits. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand. As soon as a YouTube video starts, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour. If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you do not have to reckon with such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. YouTube also stores information on usage that is not related to individuals in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block the saving of cookies in your browser. Further information on data protection at "Youtube" can be found in the provider's data protection declaration via https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
